Meet Sophia! She was surrendered to the shelter by her owners and is now looking for her new forever home. Sophia has a skin condition that has gone untreated for quite awhile but she is being treated and is now on the road to better health. Sophia is friendly with people and has lived with children over the age of 10. She will not be a good candidate for a home with small dogs but may enjoy a male doggy friend her size. She has lived with cats and birds in the past and did fine with both. Sophia was mainly an outside dog and it is unknown if she is housetrained. We will know more about Sophia once we have spent more time with her and further assess her.

UPDATE: Sophia's skin condition has improved and new hair is growing back! She is not on any medications currently and continues to do well!
