Athena is a big beautiful 5 year old female Malamute that is in need of a new home. She has a very loving and gentle nature with all people including children. Due to her size should always be watched around little kids to prevent them from being knocked over. Athena is house-trained and knows her commands of sit down stay and come. She is currently living with 2 cats and does fine with them but she does have that pesky Malamute prey drive and finds rabbits fun to chase. Athena may do well with a male doggy friend her size but definitely no small dogs for this girl! She will need a securely fenced yard to keep her from visiting the neighbors and keep her out of mischief. Athena would love an active family who will continue to work with her and take her on fun adventures.
