Ayla is a beautiful Malamute/Norwegian Elkhound mix who ended up in the shelter after going over her owners 4 foot fence one too many times. She has some basic training under her belt is very friendly and sweet and plays well with dogs her size and energy level. Ayla is still a bit mouthy so would need a home willing to continue her training. She would do well with older kids but may be too hyper for young children.

Ayla knows how to sit and does fairly good with the down command. Thus far at the kennel she has not shown any signs of aggression toward the other barking dogs when going in and out of the kennel. She is certainly treat motivated and likes to give kisses. Over all she is very sweet girl who needs a family who understands her young ways and will be able to work with her.
