Sugar has not had much human socialization and is very skittish; you have to take the time to let her get to know you. Once she warms up to you she is as sweet as pie! Sugar has been around many dogs her whole life gets along very well with other dogs and loves to play. She has been living with cats and is interested in them but has not chased them. The house cat at her foster home can even rub up against Sugar and she does not mind! Sugar is still working on walking with a leash and does very well in the back yard with loose slip leash. She will automatically heel on the left side without a command. Sugar is house-trained however she prefers to be outside where she is the most comfortable. Sometimes when she wants to play Sugar will come up behind you and poke you with her nose then she runs away. That is her way of saying chase me!

Sugar needs a reasonably quiet household with a large fenced yard and another dog her size who likes to play. She will do best in an outdoor environment and typical to her snow dog roots she seems oblivious to inclement weather!
