Makai is a beautiful young malamute mix who was turned into the shelter through no fault of her own. She is very sweet and friendly with a laid back personality. Makai is house trained and knows her commands of sit lie down shake and stay. She walks fairly well on leash but will pull if she sees something that needs to be investigated. Makai takes treats gently is very treat motivated and enjoys going for rides in the car. She is said to be good with most other dogs so she may do well with a male doggy friend. Makai has not been tested around cats but has shown that she has that Mal prey drive. She has a beautiful long coat that will require consistent grooming to keep it beautiful and manageable. Makai enjoys meeting new people and would love a new home that will make her a part of the family!
