Handsome mal seeks single lady!

Lanigan is a tall shy 5 yr old Mal mix that has found a wonderful foster home and is getting much needed rehabilitation. He has several lady friends in the neighborhood that he walks with and enjoys visiting their homes. On occasion he allows their husbands to give him a cookie. This poor guy wound up as a stray and got his head stuck in a plastic container. He was dehydrated hungry and scared when he was finally captured by animal control.

FOSTER HOME UPDATE:Lanigan is a great indoor as well as outdoor dog and he likes to sleep inside on a nice soft bed or thick doggie bed. He is house trained and can live with cats even though he is curious about them. If he gets bored he will chase the cats. When his foster mom leaves the house he watches her drive away and usually is waiting in the same window when she returns. He likes to play with both male and female dogs of medium and larger size gets along well with smaller dogs and often acts as protector to them. He prefers women over men and is very selective about the men he hangs out with. He can be contained successfully in a wooden or vinyl 6ft fence that has no toe holds or jumping points. He is treat motivated and is trainable. He knows sit paw down and can ignore deer and other wildlife when directed and rewarded with cookies or turkey dogs. He can catch a tennis ball when he feels like it and loves to go for a hike and cool off in the lake.
