Meet Balto! He is a big handsome boy who ended up in rescue as he likes to get out and go explore. So he will need a secure yard and maybe a playmate! Balto is really sweet and acts like a big puppy that likes to gently put his mouth on you! He is like a pup that does not know any better because no one has ever told him that he can not do that. He is a big puller and likes to jump around while walking. Volunteers are working with him to help him walk more calmly. Balto is NOT a starter mal as he needs guidance and training. He has not had much exercise and has some puppy chubs on him so he is on the famous malamute green bean diet. But since he is so young and active steady exercise should burn off those extra pounds in a flash! Balto will do well in an environment with either another dog to set a good example and or people who can work on undoing his poor but fixable habits.
