Kiia lost her malamute brother last year and now due to her humans health issues she finds herself solo in Seattle. But she has a positive spirit and big heart and knows her forever family will find her soon. In addition to her big heart she is big for her size due to enjoying too much human food. So please do not let her listed weight fool you as she is ready to make some big lifestyle changes with human help. With a dog food-centric diet and regular exercise she will trim up and enjoy life with more energy. She harnesses up easily and is not a big puller. This easy walker enjoys walking on the grass and bike path and as she loses weight she may enjoy hiking the trails too. Kiia has a friendly disposition is a calm character and an overall good sport given all the change she has experienced recently. She enjoys meeting new people and getting a good belly rub and demonstrating basic commands of sit stay and come. She is a pretty girl with distinct black bar marking in center of her happy face and soft friendly eyes. Her black white and gray fur is on the short side.

Like many mals Kiia is not a cat fan and she also prefers people over dogs so we think she will do best as an only dog in a home. And she would prefer an adult-only home as her previous homes were with senior folks who did not have kids around.
