With show dog looks and a heart of gold young Baker is looking for a home where he can be the youngest and only kid in the family. He loves attention and found living with two human siblings under the age of three was not his scene. So now he would like to be the star in a new family and is eager to find a family who will help him grow into a great canine citizen and provide the attention and guidance he needs. He loves adults and other dogs and has grown up hitting the dog parks so he has a good track record with that. He did not enjoy sharing with little kids in his previous home so he has been working on some of that possessive behavior with his foster parents.

Baker is outgoing happy and gregarious. He is responsive and respectful of adults and seems eager to please. For walking he will need a harness to control his pulling. He will need consistent daily walks to achieve acceptable leash walking as he is at a critical age in his development.

He knows the commands of come sit stay and extended stay for treats and is crate trained. He also enjoys rolling over for bellyrubs. He would love to get out on more walks and hikes too as he is a fit and active guy who needs exercise. While yard time is fun it is not the same as cruising around the neighborhood or mountains with a new family.
