Meet Alpha, the new kid on the block! He came to WAMAL with Moose at a time when their shelter was shutting down due to the current pandemic. Alpha is a one year old male malamute husky mix. He is 78 pounds and could stand to lose a little weight. He has a very puppy-like nature with a fun energetic and goofy attitude. Alpha will do well with an active family to help him burn off some of his extra energy. He will also need a structured and loving home that can guide him on the ins and outs of Good Boy status as he currently enjoys jumping and playing tug of war with the leash in his mouth. Continued and patient training will go a long way with this pup! Alpha is very affectionate and will fit in well with a northern breed experienced and knowledgeable family.
