Nanuk is a big classic beauty with a friendly personality who is actively looking for her next home. She is known to be a sweet quiet gal with a slower pace. She had Achilles surgery in 2016 and has healed. While she enjoys walks she can tire easily. She may not be a mountain hiker but she has a lot of love and companionship to provide. She has lived in a home with kids but given her size it is recommended teens and above or an adult only home. She has been known to get along with friendly dogs but tends to prefer males to females and any intros would need to be carefully orchestrated as she is a power player. While Nanuk is an easy going gal she does like her own space at times and will need owners who can read her cues and respect her privacy and personal space when requested. Nanuk likes to sit and shake and cucumbers are said to be one of her favorite treats. She also likes skunks and rabbits in a not so friendly kind of way so rest assured her prey drive is intact.
