Big Bear is looking for a new family who has time to provide him with attention adventure and affection. Bear is a big boy at 150 lbs. and could stand to lose a few pounds so he would love a family that can provide him with a consistent walking program. He is a smart and curious boy who developed an interest in birds which is not good for feathered friends. With that in mind he would love a home with a secure yard sans turkeys and chickens and opportunities to play with his family. He has lived with other dogs and may enjoy another female doggy companion in his new home.

With the energy of a puppy he is ready for power packed play on a dime. He loves people but sometimes is a bit suspicious of men so he asks for time to warm up. True to his heritage he loves the snow but when it is hot out a dip in the water will do. Bear also enjoys a game of one sided fetch. He will go get it but will not bring it back. With his youthful exuberance and size he would enjoy more guidance and training to support his development. Can you resist a Bear hug? If not he would love to meet you.

The adoption fee of $300 includes spay-neuter and all vaccines.

Bear is being lovingly cared for in Washington while he awaits his new forever home.
