Due to a terminal illness in her current family Stevie is looking for a new family and home to call her own. Stevie is known as a sweet girl who loves people and gets along just fine with dogs and cats. She even is a frequent visitor of dog parks and loves socializing there. She gets around really well and you many not even notice at first that she is blind. Once she gets familiar with a space she is very adaptable and comfortable. She is afraid of stairs but with coaching verbal encouragement and the squeak of a favorite toy she will do her best. With this in mind a stair-free or minimal stair home may be best and one with older animals or none. She loves toys especially squeaker ones and ones with bells. Stevie is a gentle loving companion and has a great attitude toward life. Stevie had a doggie door at her previous home so it was easy for her to get out and potty. She may need a little retraining help in a new home but given she loves to head outdoors it should be easy transition. She needs to have a grain-free diet and also does not like thunder or fireworks. But overall shes an easy going girl who likes to chill out with the family. And she hopes to find her forever family soon.

The Golden Paws adoption fee of $200 includes spay-neuter and all vaccines.

Stevie is being lovingly cared for in Washington while she awaits her new forever home.
