Ivo is a handsome and outdoorsy mal who is looking for new home due to an illness in his family. He's been with them his entire life but they know they cant give him the adventure exercise and attention that he deserves. While he is a calm and gentle malamute he is an alpha male personality. He is typically good with submissive dogs but has little patience for ones with attitude. He did a lot of training when he was young and would like to have a family work with him again. He loves treats and would be happy to practice commands if treats were involved. Ivo is an alert guy and likely has a high prey drive. While he may get along with another family dog no cats in the house please as he gets that look in his eye when he sees one. Ivo goes out of his way to avoid little humans sorry kids so he will need go to an adult-only home. He is friendly with adult strangers but has been protective of his backyard space in the past and wants to be sure new people are good folks.
