While Thor is a big and brawny guy that is where his likeness to his namesake the Norse God of Thunder ends. He is more of a lover than a warrior and needs to find a new home due to an illness in his family. Thor is very friendly and excited to meet new people and get a belly rub. He loves to get for out walks and exercise. He asks that his new family is active which will help keep him fit and happy. As you may have guessed by his size he is a strong puller but is responsive to commands to redirect his energy and power. Indoors he is a pretty mellow guy. Thor recently got caught out overnight in a storm which has left him a bit anxious and he would appreciate a family who can help him work through that. His routine got disrupted and he wants to get back to having fun all the time and being the wonderful companion that he has been to his past owner for four years. Thor would be fine in a family with teen kids but is too powerful for little ones. He has not had much time with other dogs and may be ok with proper introductions. Due to his size he has overwhelmed other owners and their dogs but do not let his looks fool you as he is really a gentle giant.
