With a name as sparkly as her personality Opal is a malamute-husky mix that is energetic and loves people and attention. Opal is a healthy young adult that would do best in a home familiar with Northern breeds that will spend the time to help her feel secure in her new home after having to be rehomed due to a medical issue with her loving owner. She walks well on leash knows her basic commands and will jump up for loves and kisses. She has lived with children and other dogs though takes some time to warm up to other dogs so slow introductions are important. She is a dog that enjoys being with her family and is house trained has been allowed on furniture and rides well in cars. She has some anxiety when left home alone and has been known to jump fences do some destructive chewing and does dig all typical to her breeds. Also typical to her breeds she does not do well with small animals. Opal will make a wonderful companion for an active family!

The adoption fee of $300 includes spay-neuter and all vaccines.
