River is the perfect malamute for a lover of the malamute breed! A young dog he is full of love and energy! He is excited when meeting new people and is working on not jumping up but it is so hard when you are so happy! He enjoys belly rubs and allows brushing and nail trims without a fuss. He appreciates having his beautiful coat cared for so he always looks his best. For his age he walks well with a loose leash though he does pull when he sees something interesting so his walkers need to be ready for his strength. Typical of a young malamute he is interested in investigating sights and smells. He is learning his commands and looks forward to receiving continued training in his new home. He does well with other dogs and really enjoys playing. He really is a happy go lucky sweetheart who loves people. He leans in on them wants to be petted by them and hates it if hes not invited to the party. He is ready to jump in the car and come home with you!
