Learn more about the Alaskan Malamute.
Kavik is everything we love about the Alaskan Malamute breed! At 120 pounds this young guy is full of life and ready to be part of a pack of his very own. He is very friendly and social with people and wants to go on all of your adventures with you! Kavik is looking for a new home because he was left alone outside and decided to take himself on his own adventures. He will need a secure space exercise and time with his pack. It was reported he has been potty trained and has done well with children but based on his size should be in a home with older kids. He was good with the smaller pup he lived with and has had some good interactions in rescue with other dogs so may enjoy another dog in the home but may be just as happy to be your one and only! Kavik has previously lived with older children a cat and a smaller dog. He did tend to bully the cat so we are thinking a home without feline siblings would be safest. The adoption fee of $400 includes spay-neuter and all vaccines. Kavik is being lovingly cared for in Washington while he awaits his new forever home.
