Fonzi is a very relaxed 1 year old male malamute mix who needs to find some "Happy Days" with a loving family. Fonzi is a medium-sized black and white player who enjoys being the center of attention with cuddles and the typical slow lean sneaky climb into your lap. He takes treats gently and is a healthy young boy who enjoys savoring his food but don’t get in-between him and his meal or he may get a little protective. Fonzi will sit without being told when he sees the leash as he knows a walk is coming. He walks very gently on a leash and knows his basic commands of sit, stay, down, walk, come, treats, food and OK. He is skittish with sudden noises but with patience and gentle guidance will overcome his fears and become a great new member for the right family.

This young pup is a cuddler wanting to get as close as possible for pets. He loves playing with other dogs his size and does a good job listening to his friends during play. He is house-trained and crate-trained but has some quirks with the crate doors as well as a few body gestures which can be corrected in a consistent and loving environment. He would not be suitable for a home with young children.
