DAISY
lives up to her name as a bright flower that's ready to bring sunshine to everyone's day! She is a spirited youngster ready to squirm into the center of your life (and the life of everyone you meet).
She loves to play, run zoomies and relax in her crate after she tuckers out.
DAISY knows many commands; sit, come, heel and down. "Stay" is only on her terms. She likes treats and will be easy to train further. She enjoys taking walks where she can continue to improve her leash skills. When not on a walk DAISY would appreciate a big yard to run around in.
Playing with other large dogs is another favorite activity especially if there is a good game of chase. However, DAISY is selective about who she will play with, not all big dogs meet her standards and she does not appreciate small dogs or female dogs.
DAISY will blossom in a family that will appreciate her cheerful spirit while giving her a chance to know that being lazy has its benefits, too!
DAISY's future furever home should have plenty of space for her, time to exercise her, train her and understanding of the Malamute breed.
She is currently staying with a foster where she is learning to pull weights.
DAKOTA is a sweet girl who loves playing with toys and her sister, NICOLE. When you first meet DAKOTA she may be a little cautious but will warm up quickly because she also loves pets and attention. She would enjoy a nice yard to feel safe in, but is perfectly happy being indoors or going on car rides with you. She knows some commands like "sit", "lay" and "shake".
DAKOTA and NICOLE are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. They both will excel in a furever home that will spoil them making them feel like princesses.
She is currently living at our Malley Valley resort, socializing with other dogs and our volunteers.
Alaskan Malamute / Cattle Dog / Mixed (medium coat) Dog/Male
HADES is a sweet and gentle boy who thrives on attention from his humans. Don't let his looks fool you, he may look more like a cattle dog, but he has the personality of a Malamute!
Recently HADES lived in an apartment, but he prefers the quiet country life and is not used to the loud city experiences. He is Ok with several short walks each day, but a nice scenic walk or hike makes him very happy. A car ride with the windows cracked is always a great way to start an adventure.
HADES knows many commands. Basic commands like "sit", "down" and "stay". Loving commands "hug", "kiss" and "cuddle" and fun commands like "dance" and "go through" where he will run through your legs like a tunnel. He has a large vocabulary that you will enjoy playing with him for hours.
Despite his age, he still has a lot of puppy energy and does get along with large dogs. He may be fine living with another dog, but also would be happy as the only dog in the house, so that he does not need to share his quality time with his human.
HADES is currently living with a loving foster family. He would love his future furever home to be a quiet, relaxing environment for him where he can play, share your bed and feel like he is your number 1 priority.
Describing all of HADES great personality traits would take many pages. If you are intereste...

PIPPIN is an energetic, playful girl looking for a home that has the time to spend with her and help her grow into a mature adult lady.
As a pure bred Alaskan Malamute she shows all the breed characteristics, from sweet and cuddling to the stubborn "I don't hear you" attitude. PIPPIN enjoys being active with walks, hikes car rides to the river or meeting new friends.
Before PIPPIN's current owners adopted her she had no training or manners. They have been working with her on basic training and already seen great improvement. She is smart and should be able to improve even more with a little deadication.
Since PIPPIN is young everything is new to her which makes her a little shy. But once she is introduced to a dog or human, she warms up and enjoys playing with them. She has not had a lot of exposure to children yet, but due to her size and energy it appears she will do well with older, considerate kids.
PIPPIN will be a wonderful fur baby to an active family!
Please note PIPPIN will not be available for adoption until after her recovery from spayed surgery on October 25, 2024.

Little Miss SHELBY is a sweetheart with a big smile and a nonstop tail wag! Based on her size, we expect she is a malamute and husky mix, bringing the best of both breeds. She knows basic commands, "sit", "down" and "wait" but could use further training. She is food motivated which will help when teaching her new commands and tricks. SHELBY is good on the leash and will enjoy joining you on all of your outdoor adventures. She is a loving, playful, active girl who generally does well with other dogs once they have established who is boss in the house (hint: it's her!).
SHELBY has food allergies that will require a special diet and lifetime of medication. Therefore, she needs a family that can afford her medications, special food and has the time to administrator them.
SHELBY would love for you to open up your home to her and she promises to not steal the couch...well, at least not the whole couch!
SHELBY is currently being fostered by a loving family in Eastern Washington.
SUMMIT has a typical malamute personality. Independent, smart, playful, and affectionate, but only when he wants to be. He is crate trained, however, if he's left in the crate, for what he considers is too long, he will find a way out.
A large fenced yard for him to run zoomies and burn energy would be ideal. He enjoys long daily walks where he can explore. He also loves car rides. If he could go on a car ride to a place to walk, he would love the adventure. After the walk, he loves to cuddle and relax with his humans.
SUMMIT gets very excited at seeing other dogs as he wants to play, but not all dogs appreciate his enthusiasm. It may be best that he is in an only dog family.
SUMMIT's furever family should have the time to spend with him, take him on many adventures, and give him lots of pets and attention.
