HADES is watching or his new family to come pick him up?  Can you open your heart and home to him? HADES is a sweet and gentle boy who thrives on attention from his humans.   Don't let his looks fool you, he may look more like a cattle dog, but he has the personality of a Malamute! Recently HADES lived in an apartment, but he prefers the quiet country life and is not used to the loud city experiences.  He is Ok with several short walks each day, but a nice scenic walk or hike makes him very happy.  A car ride with the windows cracked is always a great way to start an adventure. HADES knows many commands.  Basic commands like "sit", "down" and "stay".  Loving commands "hug", "kiss" and "cuddle" and fun commands like "dance" and "go through" where he will run through your legs like a tunnel.  He has a large vocabulary that you will enjoy playing with him for hours. Despite his age, he still has a lot of puppy energy and does get along with large dogs.  He may be fine living with another dog, but also would be happy as the only dog in the house, so that he does not need to share his quality time with his human. PIPPIN is an energetic, playful girl looking for a home that has the time to spend with her and help her grow into a mature adult lady. As a pure bred Alaskan Malamute she shows all the breed characteristics, from sweet and cuddling to the stubborn "I don't hear you" attitude.  PIPPIN enjoys being active with walks, hikes car rides to the river or meeting new friends. Before PIPPIN's current owners adopted her she had no training or manners.  They have been working with her on basic training and already seen great improvement. She is smart and should be able to improve even more with a little deadication.  Since PIPPIN is young everything is new to her which makes her a little shy.  But once she is introduced to a dog or human, she warms up and enjoys playing with them.  She has not had a lot of exposure to children yet, but due to her size and energy it appears she will do well with older, considerate kids. MARVIN was recently transported from a shelter to one of our fosters where he recovered from a broken leg and is learning what a caring home feels like.  While at the foster he will be taught to potty outside, how to walk on a leash, basic commands, and socialized with other animals and humans. MARVIN is bouncy, energetic, happy, and sweet. He has loved every dog and person he has met, takes new experiences in stride (like swimming, going on his first hike, experiencing his first snow, getting bathed, visiting the pet store) Fortunately, MARVIN's  broken leg is fully healed, but he doesn't walk quite right and falls over if he runs too fast. He will likely be a wobbly guy even when he's grown up. He may not move his hind end "perfectly" but he doesn't let it stop him! He still loves to run, jump, wrestle with other dogs, and chase toys. He's even learning how to swim! MARVIN is almost potty trained and working on his crate training. He loves car rides and does really well playing with the other puppies in puppy class. He would love an energetic companion to play with at home! He will be your little shadow, following you around the house, curious about what you're doing, and will thrive with the normal training that puppies need to be good family members.
